 What is the work method PDT meter reading ?
PDT as helping tool for meter reading will scan customer ID barcode which is placed at Kwh meter. After succeed, PLN staff can input data and save it into PDT. Costumer meter data now can be downloaded to PLN computer.

 What is the advantage of PDT meter reading compare to conventional method ?
PDT with its ID barcode label will make sure that customer Kwh meter surely check and read by PLN meter reading staff. Because data can only be inputted if PLN staff come to customer residence.

 Are the meter data can be corrected ?
Data only can be corrected before data is saved in PDT, after it’s saved data can’t be manipulated again. So it can ensure the data validity.

 Is the standard PDT application can make some correction and output the report ?
The standard application function is communicating between PC and PDT. To make some data processing and report, it needs optional/additional application. For further assistance contact our Technical Support.

 How is the process of PDT Meter Reading ?
•
Import: in the beginning meter reading period, application will import PLN customer data from PLN database
•
Upload: data will upload to PDT, and PLN staff will collect meter data in customer residence.
•
Download: after data been collected, now it can be downloaded by application to PLN computer.
•
Export: PDT meter reading data will send to the internal PLN database.

 Is there any security in barcode label ?
Label Barcode is made of high quality fabric, weather resistance, anti photo copy, and equipped with security so it can’t be manipulated. Every label is die cut processed so it can damage if label is ripped off.
